Yes. Currently all merchants on the BA Marketplace site are members of the Bellafricana Family.

Shopping on BA is easy! Once you have found the product you want to buy, just follow the steps below:

  1.     Click on ADD TO CART to add this product to your cart
  2.     Click on Cart in the top right corner
  3.     Click on PROCEED TO CHECKOUT

Register an account or Login into your existing account by entering your Email and password >> Enter your shipping/billing information, ensuring your address is complete and accurate >> Choose Delivery Method >> Door Delivery or Pickup Station >>

Choose your preferred Payment Method >>

Click on CONFIRM ORDER to complete your order.

Once your order is placed, we will either automatically confirm it, or we will call you for confirmation in case we need more details. (Please note that this confirmation is a mandatory step before we ship your order).

You can check the status of your order anytime by logging into your account and going to My Order Section and click on See Details, to further track the status you can click on See Status History

Yes, you can cancel your order when it is in Order In Progress. Please note that orders in shipped status cannot be canceled.

Orders can only be returned if the delivery is within Lagos and within 24 hours of placing the order. Orders placed from outside Nigeria cannot be cancelled. We ask that you go through items in your cart properly before checking them out.

Yes. We are committed to offering our customers only 100% genuine and original products. We also take all necessary actions to ensure that any merchant found to be selling non-genuine products is immediately delisted from BA.

Yes. All products sold on the BA site are new and unused. However, if there are any refurbished items, it will be stated clearly on the product page.

All products are personally hand-made by the merchants and proudly African.

Prices on BA are not negotiable. BA merchants offer you the best prices and deals. For the best offers and promotions, check our homepage and also follow us on social media.

You can start by visiting the homepage and clicking on a category name from the category menu on the left side of the website. This shows all the products we have within that category. If you are having trouble adding products to your cart, please make sure that your internet connection is good and that you have appropriately made all necessary selections. If you still have problems, this may mean that the item you are trying to buy is sold out.

No. There are no hidden costs or charges when you order from BA. All costs are 100% visible at the end of the checkout process.

If a warranty is offered on a product, it will be displayed in the Delivery & Returns section on the right side of the product page. If a product is sold by multiple merchants, the warranty period offered by each merchant may be different and will be displayed in the compare offers box or category section.

The warranty for your product starts from the date of order.

Not to worry, you can check the status of your order anytime by following the simple steps below:

  1. Log in to your BA account
  2. Click on My Account in the top right corner of the BA homepage (Your name will appear here if you’re logged in)
  3. Click on Orders in the drop-down menu
  4. Click on SEE DETAILS to the right of the item

If your order is showing as Invalid, Unsuccessful or Cancelled, we will automatically proceed with the refund to your BA account or back to source (depending on your bank) and update you by email once it’s initiated from our side.

Please note that your shipping address cannot be changed once your order is placed. To change your shipping address, kindly cancel the order on your order page if yet to be shipped.

If already shipped, please place a fresh order with the correct address and reject the delivery of the order with the wrong shipping address once you are contacted by our delivery agent.

The average delivery timelines are displayed on the product page but it also depends on your city and or country. You can check the status of your order anytime by following the simple steps below:

  3. Click on Orders in the drop-down menu
  4. Click on SEE DETAILS to the right of the item.

We also send regular updates on the progress of your order via emails on your registered email ID, and SMS’s. We recommend that you update your current phone number and check your registered email to get the latest updates on your order.

Yes, your package can be delivered to any address that suits you. Simply enter your preferred address as the delivery address when placing your order.

Yes, although in selected locations such as: United States and Canada

Yes, our delivery agent [within Nigeria] will contact you to confirm your availability and exact location. For International and national deliveries, an email with details of the delivery would be sent to you. You can check the status of your order anytime by following the simple steps below:

  1. Log in to your Jumia account
  2. Click on My Account in the top right corner of the Jumia page (Your name will appear here if you’re logged in)
  3. Click on Orders in the drop-down menu
  4. Click on SEE DETAILS to the right of the item.

Only if you reside in Nigeria. This option can be chosen at the time of ordering. You will be notified when your items are available at the pick-up station chosen for pickup. You can see the list of pickup stations available at checkout.

Cash on Delivery is currently unavailable. We are currently working to change this.

You must refuse to accept the delivery of an open package, as we will not accept returns of unsealed products (unless for the defective reason).

Items from different vendors are shipped separately to ensure that there is no delay in fulfilling your order. Be rest assured that you will receive all your items within the delivery period mentioned on the product pages of each of these items. Before confirming your order, we will let you know the number of packages that will be delivered separately and their delivery times.

A hard copy of the invoice will always be sent along with your order. If you have not received an invoice, Contact us here and we will request it on your behalf from the seller.

Shopping on BA, you can be rest assured that you can return your product in most cases within 15 days in Nigeria and 15-21 days for international deliveries. 

Note:

– When returning an item, ensure all seals, tags and accessories are left intact and the item is in its original packaging. 

– In case of return for a change of mind reason, the item should be eligible for this reason and be sealed, unused and in its original brand packaging, otherwise, your return will be rejected.

There are no charges for shipping a product within Nigeria back to BA. However, if you are returning a product from abroad, as per our policy the shipping fees will not be refunded.

Not to worry, we will try to reschedule your order the next business day. We will make a total of 2 attempts to deliver the package, before cancelling your order. You can check the status of your order anytime by following the simple steps below:

At the end of the checkout choose Credit / Debit Card as your preferred payment option and follow the steps after confirming your purchase. Make sure that your bank activated your Credit/Debit Card for online payments. Please note that BA provides the utmost security on your payments.

When paying with Debit / Credit card on BA, we will ask you for your 16 digit Card number and expiry date and CVV (Card Verification Value) / Security code. Please note that BA doesn’t save your card information (unless you specify) or CVV information and you will be asked to enter it each time you purchase on Bellafricana Marketplace. Visit our homepage

– Click on Login in the top right corner of the BA homepage

– Click on CREATE AN ACCOUNT with Email or Register with Facebook

– You will be asked to provide some basic information.

– Once you have provided the required information, click on SUBMIT to complete the registration process.

We will send you an email to verify your account and welcome you to the Bellafricana Marketplace. Then you can start shopping!

Your email address helps us to inform you in good time about your order. It also serves as a username and allows you to log in to your account.

To add an additional shipping address to your account, follow the simple steps below:

– Log in to your BA account

– Click on Your Account in the upper right corner of your screen (if you are logged in, you will see your name there).

– Now click on Address Book on the left side of the screen.

– Click on ADD NEW ADDRESS then enter the details of the new address

– Click on SAVE.

To change your account password, follow the simple steps below:

– Click on Your Account in the upper right corner of your screen (if you are logged in, you will see your name there).

– In the Account overview area, click on Change Password.

– Enter the required information and click on Submit.

To retrieve your account password please follow the simple steps below:

– Click on Login in the upper right corner of your screen.

– Enter your registered e-mail address and click on the Forgot your password? button to get an email on your registered account with instructions on how to set a new password.

We miss you when you don’t visit us, but we never deactivate your account unless you request it, or for exceptional cases of customers with a very high order refusal rate.
